Meeting a girl at uni when I’m shy? And making friends too?
I am an eighteen year old boy who has just started university in my hometown. Therefore, I am living at home. Due to living at home, I can’t naturally make friends like the other students living in accommodation do. I have talked to people just before lectures but there is not enough time to have a decent conversation and there are so many people in a class that its hard to blend in with the same people.
I’m planning on getting a part-time job soon and I want to keep socialising with my current friends too, so I may not have enough spare time to join clubs where I could easily meet people with my interests.
So does anyone have any tips on how to make friends please? I’m pretty shy but I do start conversations with everyone I sit by. Also, I’m also really hoping to meet a nice girl in uni too as I’ve never had a girlfriend and feel a little lonely sometimes. So does anyone have tips for that too?
