What is long-line fishing?
This is for a project, I really need to know.
Is a long line with buyes, every 100 yards or so, a small line with a hook and bait is atached.
Usually is several miles long.
The boats leave it for a day and return to check what is been hooked. Usualy marlins and sharks, but can be anything.
It is not a selective method for fishing, and is prohibited in many countries.
