Fishing Cabo San Lucas

I went snuba diving in Cabo san Lucas and got stung by something. I don’t think its a jelly fish- any ideas?
Cabo is at the point where the pacific meets the sea of cortez. we were in less than 25 feet of water and no one saw any jelly fish. The sting looks like a bad scrape that didn’t break the skin, there are 3 circular patches that are raised slightly higher than the rest of my skin. When it happened, it stung but not really bad. It hurt for a couple of minutes and then I didn’t feel it. The pain wasn’t enough to make me surface. Two other women also got stung. My husband initally said that i probablly scraped up against something but I was in open water at the time, the other two women said the same thing.
I would check with your local dive shop or a dermatologist for help with an diagnosis. One possibility is larval creatures that you didn’t really see, or pieces of jelly tentacles that you didn’t notice.
