How to Carry a Fishing rod on a bike?
I need to make some kind of rod holder for my bike. I have 2 rods I wish to carry, one is a 2 piece baitcaster and the other is a 1 piece spinning. They’re both 6′6” long. Any Ideas? And I’m a catch and release fisherman so I”m not going to be bringing any home.
I’ve really been wanting to ride my bike to my favorite fishing hole, which is about 6 miles away.

I would use a precut tube of PVC pipe. I would attach it along the top bar, just behind the handlebars, extending over the rear tire. I would attach it to the frame using zip ties. Reel and accessories I would carry in aback pack.
